JC has been a driving force for change in the fitness industry for over a decade.
He’s best known for pioneering small group personal training as part of the member-centric training gym model.
He launched ground-breaking gym brand W10 in 2010, before going on to share his knowledge with others by founding the International Fitness Business Alliance.
The IFBA helped hundreds of gym owners open, grow, and scale their businesses.

Today, he’s Managing Director of Foundry, the UK’s leading training gym provider — winner of ‘Best Gym in London’ 2023. With five sites across London, and two more gyms opening later in the year, Foundry is making its mark on the fitness landscape.

JC also holds a seat on the ukactive Membership Council; and is the chair of the Independent Operators Council.
Outside work, he’s the chairman of Farnham Town Youth Football Club, bringing the sport into the lives of over 1,000 young people.
In 2022, he rowed 3000 miles across the Atlantic in the Talisker Whiskey Challenge, raising over £50k for men’s mental health charity CALM.
And he’s an ally of Magic Breakfast, having spearheaded the donation of more than 100,000 nutritious breakfasts to give schoolchildren a chance to succeed.
